Medical alert systems have given seniors the ability to live independently where they are most comfortable — in their own homes. You and your family will have peace of mind and rest easy knowing that help is only the press of a button away.
The Model PERS-3600 Personal Emergency Reporting System, by LINEAR, is a supervised wireless emergency reporting product designed for medical alert and panic alert applications. The table-top Console provides assistance to anyone who desires additional security and peace of mind. For the visually impaired, each button on the Console is molded with Braille characters to identify the button’s function.
The console receives signals from up to 16 Linear wireless transmitters. Activating a transmitter causes the Console’s digital communicator to send the appropriate alarm report to the provider’s monitoring station via the standard telephone network. In addition to the monitoring station report, audible and visual indications occur and the alarm relay energizes during an emergency activation. Upon completion of the monitoring station report, two-way voice communications will automatically be initiated between the console and the provider’s operator.
An emergency alarm can be triggered by the large HELP button located on the Console or by a wireless transmitter. A fire alarm can be triggered by optional wireless smoke detectors.
Personal messages can be prerecorded and programmed into the PERS-3600 to remind the client to perform certain functions. “Take your medication”; “call your son” are just two examples of personal messages that can be incorporated into the PERS-3600. Reminder messages can be programmed to play at specific times during the day in daily, weekly, or monthly cycles |
